Dr. Ken Stern is a highly skilled and experienced Pulmonary and Critical Care specialist. He completed his Medical degree from the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, after which he pursued a residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Southern California. Dr. Stern completed his fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care at the University of California, Irvine. His areas of interest and research include General Pulmonology, Interstitial Lung Disease, Asthma, and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease. Dr. Stern takes pride in staying up to date with the latest medical advancements through continued education and training, is fluent in English and Japanese, having been born and raised in Japan. Dr. Stern's passion for medicine and care for his patients is unmatched. He believes that his commitment to building a strong relationship with his patients is the foundation of providing high-quality care. In his free time, Dr. Stern enjoys playing video games, drinking coffee, and staying active. As a bicultural Japanese American, he can communicate in both English and Japanese fluently, and his bicultural background has helped him connect with patients from diverse cultures.
