Since finishing graduate school, Ann has worked in private practice and also spent time as an assistant clinical professor with the geriatric nurse practitioner program at UCSF School of Nursing.

At Hill Health, she cares for adult patients of all ages and is one of the providers in the clinic who performs routine healthy woman exams. Ann enjoys the long-term relationships she develops with her patients and supporting them through the good times and the bad. “It’s really an honor and a privilege when patients put their trust in me,” says Ann.

Outside of the clinic, Ann enjoys cooking, hiking and long walks with her dogs.

“My patients inspire me to be the best I can be,” says Ann Daleiden, RN, MS, GNP, a nurse practitioner with Hill Health in Oakland. “When my patients are dealing with challenging health issues, I’m always reminded that I shouldn’t sweat the small stuff in my own life.” Ann spent the first 16 years of her career working in the hospital setting as a staff nurse and nurse manager in the intensive care unit and other departments. She went on to attend the University of California, San Francisco Graduate School of Nursing, earning a master’s degree with a focus on geriatrics in 2003. Her interest in geriatrics was sparked as a child when she watched her grandfather fight cancer and later receive hospice care at the end of his life.
